Cleanliness Campaign – Swadesh Darshan 2.0

“Cleanliness Campaign” under the program Swadesh Darshan 2.0 of the Ministry of Tourism (Government of India): Steps towards a clean future with collective participation.

Chandil, 16.12.2023, under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 program of the Ministry of Tourism (Government of India), as per the instructions of the District Magistrate, Seraikela-Kharsawan, a cleanliness program was organized today under the “Cleanliness Campaign” in the premises and periphery of Patkum Museum (Sheesh-Mahal) under Chandil block. Was organised. This event is an effort to encourage excellence in cleanliness in the society. This program was done in collaboration with Drinking Water and Sanitation Division, Seraikela-Kharsawan.

Objectives of the program:

The objective of the “Swachhata Abhiyaan” is to increase public awareness of the importance of cleanliness, motivate people to actively participate in cleanliness and strengthen the spirit of collective cleanliness.

Program Features:

1. Education and Motivation: The importance of cleanliness, its types, and important aspects of contribution in it were discussed in the program.

2. Community cleanliness campaign: Through community cleanliness campaigns, efforts were made to make tourists, students and local community aware and strengthen unity towards cleanliness.

Urge citizens:

All citizens are requested to spread the message of cleanliness and together we all move towards a clean and healthy future.

Mainly project coordinators Mr. Ankit Rana and Mr. Deepak Kumar Vishwakarma took initiative in making this program successful. Tourists and students who came for Chandil Dam boating trip along with the local people cooperated in making this campaign a success.
